Isn’t this sort of thing what caused the 2008 crash?

Crash largely caused by subprime loans; most with variable interest rates. It got to point that lenders didn’t bother to verify that consumer could afford the monthly payment. Thus, loans were destined for foreclosure from the beginning.

Kamala, you aren’t going to help with my closing costs or mortgage payments because I am white? Isn’t that racist? ;-)

You lose my support on this. I started with .25 cents in my pocket at 16 years old. I was abused, lived on streets and foster care. I didn’t want that life.I decided to change it. I own not one but two homes, same job 20 yes. Anyone can change if they want to do the work.

Mine is the same story. It hasn’t been easy for sure, but is it meant to be?

It all sounds good on paper, but what do you do when or if these people default on their mortgages? Are you going to bail them out? Doesn’t seem fair to me at all.

The lowly taxpayer is responsible for all of it. This is communism, complete wealth redistribution. And when it fails, as it certainly will, we can bail the whole system out. Again. The Democrats are hard core socialists, if not outright communists. They’ll destroy our country.
