@KamalaHarris can you explain what the hold up is? Is there any portion being renewed? What is the status of the programs effected?
It’s July 9 and the Violence Against Women Act still has yet to be reauthorized. No more political games. Let’s ensure survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence have access to the care they need.

It should be renamed, violence against partner act. Men are injured as well in unsafe domestic relationships and are in need of assistance.

We must support this not only for these women, but also for their sons. Studies show that males brought up in homes with Domestic Violence are more likely to become batterers themselves. Save the children effected by DV, and sexual abuse. Please stop McConnell from shelving this.
