There are many seniors and people with disabilities where SS is their ONLY income and live in poverty of less than $1000 a month and a big $16.00 in food stamps. I encounter these people every day as a SW.

Don't forget tovconsider increasing SSDI benefits.....Nobody talks about People with Disabilities trying to live independently. They VOTE too......... in a world of abilities.

I’m with you on this. Trying to survive the last 9 years on disability has been a hard struggle & I’m only in my 40’s. They need to start remembering & do better for all the disabled people too.

But you just agreed to give what I paid for all my working life to everyone, and those here illegally. Oh, by the way, it isn't free for me either. I have two premiums that go up every year since ACA.

those programs need increases because disability benefits don't cover basic needs. Retirement for average workers is too low and Medicare premiums take a bite.

Yes thank you. I’m on SSI for a chronic illness and Medicaid just doesn’t cut it. No doctors take it and I stay sick.
