Very true. But the difference now is that it is politically advantageous to forward the cause. Congress, not the President should have done something long ago...

I am sad this happened but would it have been this way if he arrived at a border crossing and informed them of his intent for seeking asylum? Instead they cross in a desolate unsecure area crossing a river in a desert? Is there no personal responsibility here?
