Oh plz, you helped ruin the state of California by writing props 47 & 57 in such a way to confuse voters into thinking letting criminals out early & reducing their convictions is a good thing. Crime, drug addicts/homelessness is now rampant!

Those are social issues that are better addressed by improved wages, health care, and accessible and affordable housing. Or instead, lets just put the poor in prison and make them work so we have cheaper stuff.

I think it's ironic that the US is now debating reparations for slavery, when they have instituted indentured servitude via the prison population.

Votes, all it is about.The prison system also. Dems always want to save the World when it comes to election time. What have they done that has helped anyone out of proverty, nothing. They keep their base dependent on them instead of making changes good for all. Re: California

I hope that juvenile justice reform is your top priority as well. The juvenile brain is not fully developed until mid-20s. Treatment and rehabilitation cannot happen in prison.
