There was a time. My single mother had 3 jobs with two young kids. It wasn't because of the President at the time. It was because she wanted it.
In our America, nobody should have to work more than one job to keep food on the table and a roof over their head.

Exactly, and if the government hadn't increased the tax burden, made healthcare unaffordable, made "affordable housing" (= paid for by middle class), created public pension debt, and imported the poverty, we would still live in that pre-1990 America.
