The vast majority of minimum wage workers are women, not kids. The working poor/working class are majority women. Yet most candidates are courting men.

A job at McDonalds or any other entry level position is not designed to put food on the table for a family. These jobs are first jobs to gain experience, part-time to supplement other income or to have some "pocket money". Expecting anything more will ruin small businesses!!

I remember the SEIU $15 campaign a few years back. There was a story of a sandwich shop went out of business when the staff went on strike without notice. Then the now unemployed, ex-staff then had the audacity to sue the ex-shop owners.
