First off, pay gaps are due to seniority, work performance and different levels of employees (dept mgr, senior mgr, etc). If a man is making more than a woman, it is due to his rank being higher, his being at the job longer or his better work performance. /1

Pay should be predicated on performance, experience, and value added to the company.

It should be. But unfortunately it's really only based on how much it would cost to replace a given employee.

Women’s lower relative income is also a result of delayed access to promotions. To be considered for leadership, Women need to demonstrate PROFICIENCY. To be considered for leadership, all men need to demonstrate is POTENTIAL. We’ve got a long way to go baby.

Gender pay gap is a made up issue... facts shows gender earnings for the same job has almost closed The small gap that does exist has nothing to do w/ paying women less but w/ differences in individual career choices men & women makehttps://www.prageru.com/video/there-is-no-gender-wage-gap/ …

Maybe gender neutral pronouns would be preferable? You add female pronouns next to male and instead of the current/modernist assumption that men == everyone, we will be excluding non-binaries from basic human rights. If we are to modify it should be to include everyone.
