I’m very glad you are addressing mental illness and have plans to support this. Just today, l received the latest photo&info from my friend veteran of Desert Storm and suffers from PTSD and schizophrenia. He’s in bad shape. Many like him need lots of help.

If I had support when I was growing up for my mental illnesses, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am half-broken now & sometimes I think about what my life would have been like had adults around me listened to me when I told them I was depressed, I was anxious, I was panicked.

Great. But Medicare covers mental health poorly with very low reimbursement rates. We have to have a fair reimbursement rate to incentivize providers to work with Medicare and Medicaid recipients. We also need comprehensive coverage. In the long run we’ll save $.
