Should we have jailed the bankers? (Yes)
-
Or, at the very least, stipulated fines levied against execs couldn’t be paid by insurance companies. There was NO punishment of execs at my former bank that ignored us employees that disagreed with their policies. Same can be said for unscrupulous consumers & investors.

Good afternoon Senator Harris, sadly having a minimum wage of $15 won't be but so helpful in cities where the average rent is over half their yearly salary and the cost of living isn't a part of their yearly raises.
-
You’ve identified the trouble with a national minimum wage. $15 in one place is a lot different than in other places. Regardless, there are very few people who are paid minimum wage over a long period of time. Most people earn raises pretty quickly.

In what world is the economy not working? We are at full employment.
-
Being at full employment and making a livable wage are 2 different things. That's why the unemployment rate numbers aren't necessarily reflecting the actual economic health of the country.

There isn't anything that will help anyone UNTIL we deal with the IMPEACH MCCONNELL ACT, and you know it. This is where your priorities should lie!

It was the bipartisan decision of the Congress to bail out the bankers!

And CRA and immunity for bond ratings agencies.
