anyone who complains about unions, I tell them about Triangle Shirtwaist. I've been down there on the anniversary. Tragic.

3/25/11 the Triangle Shirtwaist Company factory in NYC burned, killing 145 workers-one of the most infamous incidents in US industrial history, as the deaths were preventable–most of the victims died as a result of neglected safety features & locked doors in the building.
