You are correct. Congress should immediately enact laws that improve border security, remove loopholes that allow children to be trafficked, and the crazy asylum laws changed. You do that (which is your job...) then the problem will be fixed.

If you wish to judge society based on how we treat children how do you judge yours. Over 19% of the state you represent live below the poverty line. Thousands of children you are sworn to serve live in constant poverty. If you want to judge a society make change in yours.
