This is also why crime labs should be independent accredited bodies that prosecution and defense have equal access to. Our current system makes the defense distrustful of crime lab employees.

prosecutors make more than even seasoned and tested public defenders, and they’re not nearly as overworked. her raise for public defenders is aimed at giving citizens a better chance in court. I’m not sure if experience should then dictate who gets better accommodations
