I attended San Francisco public schools (Diamond Heights) a few years ahead of you. As a white woman I benefited immensely from the integrated educational setting. My mama served on the PTA with a diverse group of parents. I hope others benefited as much as I did.
Brown v. Board is personal to me. My class was only the second after busing integrated Berkeley Public Schools. Without this decision, I likely wouldn’t be a U.S Senator. It’s critical we combat the racial inequalities that still exist in our schools.

Yep, they are strong and confident. My daughter is a Howard grad physician, bringing healthcare to those who cannot afford them in her practice. Harris reminds me of that spirit.
