I love using Uber here in NYC. Hoping that @Uber & Lyft will provide their employees with a sensible living wage so we as a city and as a nation, can continue to prosper.
All workers deserve a living wage, protections, benefits, and the right to join a union. Standing with the thousands of Uber and Lyft drivers across the country striking today.

I agree all full time worker deserves a living wage but Uber drivers are private contractors and giving them what you say is a living wage which I asumyis 15 and hours would raise the price of each ride and kill Uber as a company.

Any business including those using contractors that can not afford paying people a living wage do not deserve to be in business.

What about the taxi industry that can't compete on a Level Playing Field Because of government rules and regulations that they must follow but not Lyft or Uber?
