If we can confiscate all guns now, it’l be easier to enforce provisions of the Green New Deal. Just look at Venezuela. Recycling is way up!
I’m fed up with the inaction on gun violence. People are dying. Too many lives have been lost and too many communities are left to heal. We need leaders who will address this horrifying epidemic and have the courage to speak up.

No. In 2012, Hugo Chávez was president of Venezuela, but in 2013 he was replaced by Nicolás Maduro, who is still in charge. From 2013 to 2015 the poverty rate in Venezuela increased from 32% to 76% and the minimum wage dropped from $360 per month in 2012 to $31 per month in 2015.

At the very least gun violence needs to be studied as a public health issue. Congress has prevented this for many years.

The last time there was a study such as this was back in 1986. Guess who lobbied to shit the funding for it.
