Dont they get summer breaks off? And christmas breaks and spring breaks and all that. Im all for teachers myself but i couldnt make ends meet on my salary if i was only working 9 or 10 months a year either...

Pay for performance. Creates ownership innovation and improves moral and dedication. Longevity is increased too.

How do you measure performance? Classrooms don't come with the exact same number of identical students with identical abilities who live in identical homes with identical families and access to identical resources.

How? Teacher salaries are set by states and locals.

More funding from the federal level would allow for state and local governments to put more money towards salaries.
