Mitch McConnell used nuclear option to tamper with Supreme Court, budget trick to ram through 1% tax cut and has consistently worked against the people. He’s up for re-election. If everyone who read this chipped in $5 we’d flip Kentucky

Why not $30/hr or 50/hr? Why stop at $15? single-digit percentages of people actually earn minimum wage full time, the largest proven impact on the population when minimum wage is increased is teenage unemployment increases. Minimum wage jobs are the lowest skilled jobs, training

Mr Ejaculator, there's no point arguing with stupid. We have a $14.25/hour minimum wage up here - people flipped when govt stopped it from being raised to $15/hr When we raised from $11/hr to $14.25, there were mass layoffs. Bet those laid off workers missed their $11/hr then

The responses are frightening. MW is NOT just fast food. It’s 1000’s of jobs in 1000’s of fields. It was put in place because w/o it, employers would exploit workers, just like now. If still on the gold std., MW would be around $25. Wake up.

A true free market economy would create fair wages because of competition plus supply and demand. No need for mandated wages.

So we are going to pay someone working at Taco Bell the same amount we pay teachers and some nurses? That seems a tad off.
-
No, by all means, increase their pay as well. They deserve way more.
