My rental property doesn't belong to u pandering thief. If renters are forced to set a price that a single person min wage worker can afford (and how is that even decided? Maybe they are squandering their money on less important things?) I'll sell the property. Stop vote buying.

How about those of us in Ohio who are single moms working for just under 10$ per hour, only 1$ above minimum wage... And can't even afford an apartment... I work my butt off, and what I'm "squandering" my money on is raising my daughter. And paying my student loans.

Until this government cracks down & reverses the the tide that took out the middle class, and the ability for anyone under the middle to thrive, it won’t be enough. Ending the plutocracy is the only way, reversing the policy of the wealthy for the wealthy, wages, labor, tax laws!
-
It’s less about giving people a break Kamala & more about creating a fair & equitable system that recognizes the working masses responsible for everything that makes the wealthy who they are! End corporate welfare, make corporations pay fair taxes, close loopholes & tax shelters!

Supply and demand, look it up. Also, minimum wage IS NOT intended to support a person. Entry level and training is the purpose. Like everything you offer, you are just trying to buy votes. Free, Free, Free is all you have.

you keep repeating this, but you're literally just making it up. nowhere in american history has it been a case where if someone works full time, they cant make ends meet. 40 hours a week is work. Even if you deem it "entry level." https://www.thebillfold.com/2015/07/it-was-always-supposed-to-be-a-living-wage/ …

Don’t forget that most employers will NOT hire full time employees because they don’t want to pay benefits. Most employers hire a bunch of part time employees and then they make it difficult for those pt employees to seek out second jobs.

Also, it cost almost five dollars for a gallon of milk. A minimum wage worker will have to work one hour for one gallon of milk. It’s down right shameful.

No lie. Minimum wage goes up, so does the cost of living & we’re back in the same place. Corporations will push more work onto salaried employees. More employees will be moved to part time or temp status to eliminate benefits. Yeah it sounds great
