Education will benefit people more than raising the minimum. You need to sell your college plan as the huge boon to the economy it will be. I agree we need to raise this raise, but we really need more people working in better than minimum wage jobs. Educate everyone & we prosper.

@KamalaHarris I have a question regarding your interest in raising minimum wage to $15/Hr. Some companies tend to retaliate by: 1) reducing full time hours to 35 or less per week, forcing people to still seek 2nd and 3rd jobs to keep their bills paid, -
4) Changing the annual pay-raise process resulting in no raises at all, or raises so minimal (1-2%) which is barely worth mentioning. [aka Wage-Control] How does raising the minimum wage truly help people when billionaires are intolerant of anything that interferes...

Current employees working for $15/hr for the past 3 years will not stand for a new hire at that same salary. It's not only going to be the increase in salary to $15, but compensating longer term employees. Better to find ways to lower cost of living.

Happened where I work. In the same for 12 years. Started $11/hr now I only make $3 and some change than a new hire. Kick in the balls.
