The question isn't how are we going to pay for the Green New Deal, it's how are we going to pay for doing nothing? Because that's the catastrophic course.

The legitimate question is never, "How can we afford that?" We have plenty of money. The question is, "What would we rather spend it on?" Just for shits and giggles I'll toss out a possibility - the military/industrial complex.
