The military has a whole list of conditions that disqualify you from serving, especially if that condition involves every day medication. This doesn't make the policy discriminatory.https://www.military.com/join-armed-forces/disqualifiers-medical-conditions.html …

First, this is a list of diseases, and we are not talking about people with a disease here. Second, this list has a five references to these conditions not being disqualifying if managed with medication (eg thyroid disorders).

Not everyone is accepted into the service for many reasons..doesn't the transgender require regular medication..what happens if conditions don't make it possible to get that medicine same as if the diabetic, or other types of infirmities or health reasons cant get meds.

Read The UCMJ, dimwit. Beyond that advice A person who refuses to accept their biological gender. Is a security and discipline risk which will get service members killed. Our military deals in factual reality, a very harsh one at times, with no room for individual dysphoria.

Military has many disqualifying medical conditions, eg asthma, allergies & color blindness. Transgenders have huge recurring medical costs that hamper military operations. Military members must be physically & mentally fit for military opns.

Why would we allow individuals that are intentionally taking medication that alters their mental state to serve in something that may require them to pick up a weapon defend our nation. They lose their rational mind when they start transitioning due to medication. You're wrong.pic.twitter.com/bdk8LaBZjM

Actual veteran here. I admire and respect that they want to serve, but like many others that want to, they aren't compatible. We can't just start changing rules for everyone. It would be too difficult to accommodate them.
