Have you considered the possibility that companies get away with these work around because we have whittled away at the power of unions so much that they don’t have the heft to put a halt to that anymore?

Why push $15 an hour and not consider an other benefits. Why aren't the "Dems" fighting to FORCE business that are publicly traded and pay dividends have ANY employees on government assistance?? Walmart can afford to pay it's CEO but uses the Government to subsidize the workers.

The Senate, House & WH needs flipped & SCOTUS needs changed. Republicans hate working people & the Walton family spends way more $$ than unions can to get what they want from Congress.

Yes but Unions are outdated today and are a mere business making money. Thanks to the early years of Unions we now have laws in place, and that was needed. Today it's all about making money and they place clear riffs against employee/company. Just my opinion.

You couldn’t be more wrong. This is an anti union talking point. A union can’t run for free just like anything else. Thanks to a union I can retire with a pension. Was this free? Hell no! Was it worth my dues for 30 years? Hell yes!
