My son died of pediatric brain cancer two years ago. Luckily the ACA was in place, because I had switched jobs and he could’ve been denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions. We need Medicare for All. Health care is a human right.

Sorry for your loss. Losing a child ain't the natural order of things anymore. I can't imagine.

My mother-in-law has Medicare and had to refuse most of the tests her doctor recommends because they aren't covered and she doesn't have the extra cash to pay for them. This whole system needs fixing.

My sister and I sadly had the same experience with our mother. The amt of time I spent arguing with her insurance about the most nonsensical of basics services is atrocious. Mind you, she had Medicare.

Great place to live isn’t it, only the desperate want to come here, hope they know what they are in for. On top of being sick you have to spend time talking to these customer service shits on the phone practically begging them for a answer. Only the devil could have created this.

Growing up in Canada I can't begin to comprehend what that feels like. I've always had healthcare and when my mother developed dementia I was given so much support and help to care for her in her home. And when she passed away there were no medical bills to worry about

How wonderful that sounds. Hopefully we will get there one day.
