Can you say "single payer" or you nibbling at the edges?
-
Because “single payer” is not the objective, “universal coverage” is the objective and should be priority 1. I highly recommend the book Casino Healthcare by
@DanMunro for a great distillation of the complexity of our current problem & credible ideas for how to reform our system

The problem Ed is when something is a ‘right’ people assume government will provide it. That rarely works. Obamacare proved that. It is better to allow people to be free to obtain any insurance they want from any number of competing providers.

To me, healthcare and education should be a right for everyone in this country. Once you have those two, you should have the ability to make it on your own.

anything a body requires to be functional in society should be provided by the State, paid by indv AND corp taxes. some things cannot be run for profit.
