Today marks 51 years since the assassination of MLK. A man who reminded us that ‘the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.’ We honor his legacy by continuing to carry the torch that lights the way for justice and equality. There is more work to be done.

Agreed. Homelessness and displacement are big enough issues in our communities where we people are experiencing pain first hand. Many of the policies that have factored into this have been Ds and Rs.

I still don't understand why people think racism just went away in 50 yrs.
People don't think it went away. People have convinced themselves that from abt 1980 until trump was elected that it lay dormant and then has suddenly pulled off its real clothes to expose itself in a hood, when in reality that person had been wearing the hood in public forever!
