Many upper class Republicans hate 5 day work weeks, sick leave, & workplace standards because it costs them to provide it for the workers. The Republicans who benefit from those things--lower/middle class--don't see them endangered because TPTB have intentionally distracted them.

Although I have not belonged to a union, I recognize the benefits of doing so. I support unions. Especially in these times with CEOs make outrageous amounts of $ & golden parachutes. Best Wishes
