Another is, places that rent, checking credit. I understand how it may be useful, HOWEVER, it also impacts people for trying to get into a nicer place or an apartment complex because of their “not so great” credit. Who may have needed to pay rent over credit cards.

My rent just outside of Sacramento almost doubled from when I moved in (2013) to when I moved out (2018). Not a single improvement in my apartment.

The economic inequality makes all of us less safe. We are nearing the tipping point. So many homeless families, homeless in their 50’s and beyond. These aren’t addicts, they are ppl who got hit with hard times & they haven’t been able to recover in this supposed great economy.
