I get your sentiment but maybe try to steer clear of the term “Indian reservation.” One word is a misnomer and the other is a trigger (rightfully so) of all the injustices the indigenous peoples have been forced through.

It's the official Gov title for the land (treatise) she is addressing, being a Gov official. Our Gov, having a terrible record as it concerns the keeping of treaties, does inspire words like "internment allotment". That's not just history, but present.

My question is- considering the ongoing issues with global climate change have we accessed whether or not this will keep happening? B/c rebuilding the same buildings in same spots w/out adjusting for expected future flooding will solve no problems
