7 years ago I had an emergency hand surgery that cost $36,000 for a 3 day stay in the hospital, idk what I would have done if I didn’t have great insurance.

It only takes one trip to the hospital to bankrupt someone.

The medical system is fine. It is paying for health care that is the problem. Let's first start with guaranteeing preexisting conditions.
-
The killing part is that we are all BORN with a PREEXISTING CONDITION!!! It just hasn't been found yet. They need to completely take that language out of everything. Get rid of it!

I have medical bills from a collection company that my insurance paid in FULL and they still don’t care. They won’t remove it, someone needs to stop the predatory collection company’s as well.

Why are we paying billions to a Insurance Industry when Federal workers can push paper for a lot less than the 10 million salaries of CEO's and Chairman of the Pharma and Insurance Industries.
#WasteKills Federal workers can do it a LOT cheaper, saving billions in waste..Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I agree that Medicare for all would be a good thing. But everyone I know who is on Medicare has to carry a supplemental insurance to cover the things Medicare doesn't. Those now cost $300 and up. How do we deal with that issue? Serious question.

Senator, I strongly support you, but I think you should talk to disabled individuals who qualify for Medicaid. My adult sons have autism and in addition to all their medical and therapy needs fully paid, qualify for 100s of hours of supports so they can live in their communities.

We don't want to give up the excellent coverage under Medicaid for the limits of Medicare. How will you make sure that the most vulnerable individuals, who are very happy with their coverage, don't lose out with a switch to M4A?
