Have you ever served? Most transgender people need medication daily, this is not always possible when in combat. This is the same reason someone with disabilities that requires insulin can’t serve. It’s not about being trans. It’s about health and safety.

Both my siblings and I needed medication daily during our enlistments and it didn’t seem to be a problem. My sister needed a cane for YEARS after USAF botched an ankle surgery and she did her job just fine. The vast majority of our warfighter needs do not involve a gun in a field

Banning AR15 rifles from free people violates the fundamental right at the heart of our constitution: the people’s check on tyranny. This cannot be our America.

Six former surgeons general released a statement repudiating the ban, saying “transgender troops are as medically fit as their non-transgender peers and that there is no medically valid reason — including a diagnosis of gender dysphoria — to exclude them from military service.”

What about people with disabilities as well, that’s also equality.

If it is something that takes very much extra hassle then I can understand not wanting to have anyone that may hinder the missions in any way. I’m also aware most that want the ban aren’t doing this for that reason which is sad. Not really a black or white solution here.

I just dont agree that the military should be paying for any transformative surgeries. They can be in the military just don't use military money for very personal interest things

Canada just strengthened its resolve to allow transgender troops to serve. One of the many reasons I love my country.
