Don't forget that is 1.5 trillion and counting that could be being spent on boosting the economy and not disappearing into the wallets of the rich. Students past and present need a bailout.

Considering that students have to pay for an education to universities that are non-profit organizations, rip them off then have to live in debt from ages (36-53) which is a third of their life cycle and also add marriage with kids into the equation is quite the life I would say

Thank you for mentioning Gen X (38-53) & their problems with Student Loan debt. A lot of 30 & 40 somethings aren’t even able to “catch up” with Student Loan payments. And let’s not even talk about the shady practices of some of these loan providers companies

We don’t need free-for-all college. The idea that everyone should attend college results in higher demand, higher prices, and higher debt. Let’s put the same emphasis on training for trades and tech schools!

Trade schools and tech schools (and community colleges) are _colleges_. They have been for a long time.
#RealCollege In fact, most of the efforts to provide college opportunity for everyone usually strongly involve these colleges as critical to the effort.

That is one of the reasons you and Elizabeth Warren (and Bernie, if not so old) are my favorite candidates. Student debt is indecent and imoral.

Not sure about the tuition cost but it is definitely the usury interest rate on the cost that is wrong.
