LGBTQ Americans face real discrimination on the job, in our schools, and when trying to find and pay for a home. That needs to end. The EQUALITY Act would ensure members of the LGBTQ community are protected from discrimination nationwide. We must pass it.

Both my husband and I were fired from jobs in the ‘90s for being gay. Nothing has really changed since. Oh, I got a ring in my finger. Nice. But some protections? Very nice.

While I have no disagreement that the lgbtq community faces legalized discrimination in the workplace I did have the thought of how all workers in america have less protections today than we did even in the 90's. I suspect it's going to get worst before it gets better
