Assault weapons ban is a joke. Handguns have killed way more people that any other gun. But let’s focus on AR-15’s. You don’t ban sports cars because they go faster or look meaner. All guns can kill. But that’s not really the problem now is it? It’s sick people!!!! #ignorance
I fight for an America where no person is afraid to go to a school, a movie theater, a church — anywhere — for fear of being a victim of the next mass shooting. Let’s pass universal background checks and renew the assault weapons ban. We can’t wait any longer.

Statements like this are clearly opinion. You certainly have a right to that opinion, but it conflicts with the facts. Countries that have serious gun control have deceased shooting deaths. You may not think decreasing gun murder is worth the restriction, but it does work

That's not all we need to do. Require testing licensing, insurance and inspections, enforced by fines, seizures and jail time. Guns are too dangerous to mess around with. We do all that stuff with cars, it makes perfect sense to do it with guns as well.

Many people who perform mass shootings literally have nothing in their background that would show up on a background check. We need to be focusing on how to decrease our stress levels and this mentality of scarcity.

That simply isn't true. There were plenty of red flags for all of the mass shootings except for the Las Vegas shooter.
