We actually do. They federally required for gun shops and FFL dealers. What UBCs do is expand it to private sales

#hearus... found guilty abusers should be on a national DV registry while protecting the sensitivity of survivors in order to Change the Cylce of abuse for our future. -
#hereUs... With 1 national DV registry that protects survivors info & only releases court guilty DV abusers, it could prevent/SAVE a life of DV. Current issue - search a potential partner/date via multiple US counties court databases..ugh time consuming & not all is online.

As a therapist who completes diagnostic assessments, I would not be in favor of using them for gun purchasing decisions. It's way too much of a liability on my profession and there is no measurement that can predict future behavior.
