You're not telling all the truth. Medicare still has a cost. I pay $279+ a month. My private pay was cheaper

You need to include a discussion about the cost of the supplemental policy (underwritten by insurance companies) that pays 20% of what medicsre pays. Talk about the exorbitant cost of those. Outrageous! Two to three times what the medicare premium is. Then you have a part D prem.

I buy Rx from Canada. The price can be lower than the co-pay under Medicare with supplement.

BS. The US spends much more money on healthcare than Canada, on both a per-capita basis & as a % of GDP. In 2006, per-capita spending for health care in Canada was US$3,678; in the U.S., US$6,714. The U.S. spent 15.3% of GDP on healthcare in that year; Canada spent 10.0%
