I don't know what the big deal is. As a gun owner and shooting enthusiast, I don't know why a a background check or waiting period is a big deal. I have nothing to hide. I've never had to have a gun in my possession immediately. I'm fine with a waiting period. It's not a big deal
97% of Americans support universal background checks. 97%. These background checks can save lives. My colleagues and I are calling on Republican leadership to hold critical hearings on the background check bill that passed the House.
