You have just stated one of the best arguments I’ve seen for both building the wall AND school choice.
Access to public education, public health, and public safety should not be a function of how much money you have. Period.

But it should very much be a function of how much money the government doesn't have and shouldn't have, because almost all of the money the government has comes out of ordinary Americans' pockets, those living and those yet to be born (via the long arm of the deficit spending).

Public safety is a must. That's not negotiable because it is one of the fundamental reasons for which the United States government was instituted in the first place. If you can do the rest without raising taxes, please go ahead. If you can't, then stop with the platitudes.
