We’re not going to all lives matter this issue Debbie! When affluent black women aren’t heard by their
nurse/physicians; & the alarming stats show this often leads to death; we’re going to speak up about it. Caring about mothers isn’t a card to play! It’s necessary advocacy.

Thank you, my future Madame President. Please help raise awareness for the Midwife Model of Care; these principles can and will benefit us all if we can just apply this common sense to empowering women again. We should be in charge of our own births, but we are not.

Not only that, but we are terribly, horribly misinformed about birth in general in this country; the stigma equates it to a nightmare or a helpless possession. Practically everything we think we know & do during hospital births is completely wrong & counterproductive.
