A matter of public health? What public health? There's a private for-profit health care system in place, along with a parasitic extortionist health insurance industry. There is absolutely no public health, and people are dying because they can't afford medicine or healthy food.
Health equity for Black women can only happen if we recognize and address persistent biases in our health care system. We’re facing a maternal health crisis, and like any other crisis, it must be treated as a matter of public health.

Maternal mortality rates are more than double in black women than white as well. And from what I have read it doesn’t matter the income or education level. That’s a problem.
