No, you will progressively work to make gun ownership illegal. The rest of the country just needs to see how ridiculous it is to own firearms and purchase ammo in this state.
If you are referring to HR-8, there is nothing common sense about it. It is a bureaucratic morass that makes a felony out of such things as storing your guns in your neighbors safe when you are on vacation and other such idiocies.
That’s because HR8 is ridiculous and immoral. Criminalizing someone for letting a spouse, child, or friend shoot, or even hold, their weapon is the stuff of nightmares.
As President.. that’s funny. You’ve been listening to 2Pac again, haven’t you.
Unbelievable. As I’ve said before, New Jersey back in the 80’s (and maybe still) required fingerprinting at your local police station and a 30 day wait for background check. This should be required today everywhere. No one needs a gun right away.
Nice of you to decide this for everyone. Thanks.
As a gun owner I have no problem with background checks. I think anyone who does knows they won’t pass one. It’s gun restrictions that I do not want to see. Because that is a law only law abiding citizens will follow. Bad guys will still find away to get those.
Solutions to gun violence is complicated in this country, no doubt. Gun restriction laws won’t solve the problem overnight. People are still getting tickets from not buckling seat belts. People want to complain, but they don’t offer better solutions.
