Why haven’t years of Dem leadership/policies fixed anything?
Oakland teachers are continuing to strike this week for better wages and smaller class sizes. We must all stand in solidarity with them as they fight for what they deserve, what they’re worth, and what’s best for our schools.

Mrs. Harris, YOU CANNOT THROW MONEY AT A PROBLEM AND EXPECT IT TO BE FIXED! All you are doing is waisting everyone's money. The ENTIRE education system is screwed to hell. Until you radically change how it works there is no sense in investing in it.

Teachers should be paid more. And we should expect more from them -- 45 weeks of work per year and children who graduate as critical thinkers with a well-rounded education. We should equalize teaching with other professions and expect better results.
