Maybe we should look to Switzerland for the answer. The Swiss have one of the highest levels of gun ownership in the world, yet don’t have the problems we have here. Their citizens are encouraged to have gun proficiency through gun clubs, military service, etc.

I also saw this work in Arizona where every little granny walking to the store had a piece in her purse. If you’re a criminal, you’re much less likely to target granny if you think she might just pull that piece out and defend herself. Common sense.

Assault Weapons should have been BANNED for Public Use .... Decades ago!!!!
-
Educate yourself, there are no such weapons as "assault weapons" if you assault someone with a club it therefore becomes an assault weapon. We should focus on the cause not the tools

Rather than leaving more people defenseless why not arm them? I never heard of a mass shooting at an NRA gathering, army base or police station wonder if there is a reason.

Does Congress live in fear while in the presence of armed security guards? Why do you deserve such protection and school children do not?
-
Do you have carry permit to tote gun for personal protection? Until you prove "new law" actually protects school children from gun violence, why oppose armed guards protecting school children instead of having no protection? Soliciting votes does not make children safer.
