For states requiring Voter ID, shouldn't the state be *required* to make it easier for an *eligible citizen* to obtain the ID? If a voter is older, infirm, working poor, requiring the voter to go out and get the ID can be a hardship. Make it easier! It's a *Right!*
Voting is not a “right”, it’s a privilege and a responsibility of Citizens of the United States. I agree that acces to a valid ID should not be a hardship, but I believe a valid ID should be required to vote.
THE VOTING MACHINES! If they are allowed to continue to do what they have been doing- purchasing these touchscreen machines- they will hack and steal the elections- since there are no physical votes to check the "results" with, no one will be able to do anything about it. 1/
Hand marked paper ballots is the only option if we are to have free and fair elections. PS: Have to act now, waiting until a couple of months before the elections means that there will be nothing that can be done. Even the courts at that point rule that it is too late. 2/
