- When an A was just an A, everyone could potentially be a top college candidate. Until about 1986-7. - When “honors” courses were created with a secondary decimal point value, only “honors” students were validictorians, etc. - Eligibility was retro to “magnet” 6th grade classes.

I'm black, Venezuelan exiled, inmigrant and college drop up. Right now I'm creative director in a video game company in Mexico city and indie film director (my dream jobs) and on my way to success at 33. So no. I 100% dissagree with this and I think is a dangerous view.
