Any legalization policy must include a restorative justice policy for the lives that have been ruined by “innocent mistakes.”

A law is a law. If the speed limit in a state changes to 70, the state isn’t going to expunge all tickets on record showing 66-70? Doesn’t matter how “innocent” those mistakes were, they were still made with intent to break the law. I agree with Sen. Harris though.
