Remember during this tax season that if we would’ve taken Republicans $1.5 trillion Wall Street 1% tax cut and split it evenly between the 141 million taxpayers every tax filer would’ve gotten $10,000. That would’ve exploded consumer spending and economic growth
The average tax refund is down about $170 compared to last year. Let’s call the President’s tax cut what it is: a middle-class tax hike to line the pockets of already wealthy corporations and the 1%.

That’s the problem right there. 340m citizens and 140m are taxpayers. The problem is too many don’t contribute. Well, one of the problems.

No one understands what a refund is or how much they pay year to year. I have clients that made $11,000, paid in about 2,000 & got a $7,000 "refund."

Very ignorant observation. The Senator ignores the fact that each month the American Workers take home pay was higher . The tax refund is not new found money , it’s just a return to what already belonged to the individual taxpayer!!
