Actually, Barb, are laws in this country have allowed for some absolutely atrocious happenings over the last two hundred plus years. The flexibility of our laws to adjust to the will of the PEOPLE UNITED is what makes this country great.

Have to have rules in a country. It’s very basic. Why should some follow rules... waiting to become citizens... and others have a different set of rules? It’s that basic. Don’t need poetic speeches, just follow the rules.

Senator Harris and most Democrats are neither in favor of open borders nor are we in favor of not having any immigration laws. There are better ways to enforce our immigration laws than building border walls that quite often don't work. I don't want to live in a country w/walls.

Unity?? Are we now supposed to be “united” with South America?? How do you suppose the working class Americans can pay to support other countries?? In essence, it would destroy America and any notion of the “American Dream”! We would just be another Mexico, Honduras, or Guatemala
