One of the great benefits of living in a western civilization such as the United States is that you have certain inalienable rights. Once you commit a crime, however, you withdraw from society, and thus you shouldn't have the same rights as law-abiding citizens.

I do agree that this is inhumane and obviously not okay, though.

You literally fought to keep inmates in conditions violating the 8th Amendment against cruel and unusual punishment when you were AG, on grounds that they were "an important labor pool."

Wait...this is a federal prison. If only there was someone at the federal level who could hold these people accountable. Someone...at...the...federal level. Who do we know at the federal level. That works for the federal government...
