Federal representation and federal funds should be based on the number of legal citizens.
For years, the United States Census has ensured that everyone without exception is counted. We can’t let this Administration get away with intimidating immigrant communities and undermining congressional representation. Congress must pass the Every Person Counts Act.

Be honest Kamala. The only reason you want illegals counted in the US Census is because congressional seats are based on the number of people in a district and not number of US citizens. Since CA has more than 2.5 million illegals it gives your state unfair advantage in seats

The census is used to count the citizens of the USA for proper representation. When did it become the norm to count people who are here illegally? We are a country of laws. We need to follow them.

asking a citizenship ? makes sense to really understand the makeup of who's here. Especially in today's mobile world. I think the census is anonymous isn't it? & if someone is here illegally & is afraid 2complete the census because they might be found they shouldn't B here-right?

Our elected officials should be representing legal citizens. Congressional districts should not be skewed by illegals being counted, but not properly identified as illegals. They should be afraid of being deported, they are here illegally.

What intimidation? I live in California and am strongly for the question of legal status being added to the Census. We need to have accurate numbers of our population. That is what the census is for, Kamala.
